Hello!  Thank you for visiting my page. I'm a registered nurse based in upstate South Carolina. For the past year and a half, I've been privileged to blend my 15 years of hands-on clinical nursing experience with the intricacies of the legal field as a legal nurse consultant. My deep understanding of the peri-operative environment, honed through years in pre-op, PACU, and the operating room, now serves as a powerful asset for attorneys navigating complex medical cases. My experience working on the surgical trauma team in our community's largest trauma hospital is exactly what an attorney needs fighting by their side for their clients. 

My unwavering dedication to growth and unparalleled drive to succeed. I’m not just driven—I’m relentless in my pursuit of excellence. I graduated from high school at 16, earned my Associate Degree in Nursing by 20, and stepped into the fast-paced world of surgical nursing with a hunger to learn and lead.

Early in my career, I quickly stood out. While working in pre-op, I took every opportunity to immerse myself in the full perioperative experience—volunteering my time in the OR and PACU, eager to expand my knowledge beyond my role. Despite being told that new nurses weren’t allowed in the operating room, I persisted. My determination paid off: not only was I granted access to the OR, but I completed my OR orientation three months ahead of schedule and was leading multiple surgical service lines by the end of my first year.

From there, my leadership trajectory accelerated. I became the Operating Room Manager of that hospital and was later recruited by a group of surgeons to lead and transform an outpatient surgery center. Under my direction, the facility evolved from a primarily urology-focused clinic into a thriving orthopedic center of excellence.

Today, as a Legal Nurse Consultant, I bring this same passion, precision, and clinical insight to every case. With 15 years of frontline experience and a proven record of leadership and innovation, I help attorneys turn complex medical records into powerful legal strategies.

Becoming a legal nurse consultant has not only been professionally fulfilling but has also afforded me the wonderful opportunity to spend more quality time with my two amazing children and my husband, my best friend of over 19 years.

Beyond the hospital, I'm also a dedicated mother to two wonderful children and have been happily married to my best friend for over 15 years. Family is everything to me! When I'm not at work or spending time with my family, you might find me training for a triathlon, exploring the beautiful hiking trails around our area, or getting lost in a challenging puzzle or a creative Lego project with my kids.
